Corneal Topographer Wimbledon
We embrace the use of our corneal topographer in Wimbledon at our independent practice. The Medmont E300 Corneal Topographer is the most advanced topographer and with its large capture area and exceptional accuracy it is considered the GOLD Standard for mapping the patient’s cornea and fitting specialty contact lenses.
Here at Fiona Watt Optometrists, we use the Corneal Topography as a non-invasive medical imaging technique for mapping the surface curvature of the eye and can be used to monitor and measure changes that occur to the shape and integrity of the cornea. The cornea is responsible for a least 70% of the eyes refractive power. The tomography of the cornea is of critical importance in determining the quality of vision and corneal health.
